Do you set up my site, or do I do it myself?
We do everything for you. Once you are signed up you access your own special area where you provide us with basic information on your business. Once you have completed that you just schedule a session with one of our consultants who will work with you to build your website in front of your eyes.

I want to sell online - do you offer e-commerce options?
Yes, you can choose to start selling online right away or if you need some time to think about it you can get your website online and working for you and add the ability to sell products at any time. Its very easy to get set-up and we offer a service where we will configure and upload all your products and prices.

How will I benefit from a web site? And how will I use it in my day-to-day business?

I'm not very good with computers -- do I need to be?
Absolutely not. We simply ask you to fill some basic information about your business using a friendly on line form. After that the on-line telephone call with our consultant is all that you need to take part in. Our consultants will talk business with you in a language you understand.

Will my Website be ready to use in 60 minutes, or do I have to do some work on it first?
Your website will be ready to use at the end of the 60 minute consult and build session. It will be submitted into Google immediately so you could be getting business straight away.

How will people find my site? I want more people (or 'traffic') coming to my site!
We develop websites that are highly geared for getting a good Google Position for a main Term. This is designed to ensure that you get traffic to your website.

Can I add more pages to my site once the Build" session is over?
Yes you can add as many more pages as you like. You will be trained in how to add pages, text and images and you can do this any time that suits you. (There is a limit of up to 50 content pages per account)

What happens after I purchase the All-In-1 Website Offer?
After you purchased the All-In-1 Website Offer you will received an email from us with the access details to the Omniserve control panel and instructions for the next step of the process.

The next step is really easy, all it requires you to do is to tell us some basic information about your business and to upload any images that you want to use like your Logo or photographs. When this is done you simply book a session with our consultants at a time that suits you.

How much do I have to pay next year?
There is an annual renewal fee of €149 plus VAT. This is to cover the cost of your domain renewal, web hosting, email use and for the license to continue using the website site builder application. This is less than €3 per week to be open for business 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

Domain Name registration & Hosting

Where can I get a 'web site address'? What does it cost?
As part of our ordering process you can select the web address (also known as a domain name) that you want to use for your website. Existing customer can avail of additional domains. Just send a request into support@omniserve.ie

Can I get a .ie domain as part of the All-In-1 Website Offer?
Yes, you can choose to register a .ie domain as part of the All-In-1 Website Offer. Please note that you might need to provide additional documentation so that we can successfully register the .ie domain for you. If you have any queries about your .ie registration you will need to contact our support team directly.

Can I transfer one of my existing domains instead of getting a new one as part of the All-In-1 Website Offer?
No, domain transfers are not allowed as part of the All-In-1 Website Offer, only new registrations. You must register a new domain as part of the All-In-1 Website Offer. The domain name is free of charge so you have nothing to loose.

Can I transfer one of my existing domains AFTER I have signed up?
Yes, you can transfer a domain to use or have your existing domain registration company point that domain to your working website. Contact our support team for more information.

What is the Xpress Creation Process?
The Xpress Creation Process is OMNISERVE’s unique way of delivering websites in 60 minutes

What are the steps of the Xpress Creation Process?
The Xpress Creation Process has three steps:

  • "Collecting your Input"
  • "Schedule your Consultation"
  • The "Build Session"

First you need to provide OMNISERVE with information about your business; you do this by completing the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire. After you have completed the questionnaire you need to "Schedule your Consultation" session with OMNISERVE. Finally during the 60 minutes "Build" session” we go through the completed website with you and train you in how to maintain it.

Collecting your Input

How will I provide OMNISERVE with the content and images for my website?  
You will provide all the information required to build your site via the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire

What is the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire?
"Collecting your Input" is an online questionnaire that can be completed in less than 20 minutes and that can be accessed via OMNISERVE's control panel under the "Collecting your Input" tab

How do I access the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire?  
To access the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire you need to login into OMNISERVE's control panel and click on the "Collecting your Input" tab.

What happens if I loose my password for the OMNISERVE control panel?
You can use the "Forgotten your password" facility in OMNISERVE’s control panel to get the password resent to your email address.

How long does it take to complete the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire?
The "Collecting your Input" questionnaire can be completed in as little as 20 minutes

Do I need to complete the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire in one go?  
No, You do not have to complete the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire in one go, you can take as long as you need to complete the questionnaire and go back to any of the sections that still have questions unanswered.

Do you provide content for my site or can I provide my own?
Assuming you have purchased our Gold Plan or higher, OMNISERVE provides you with content for the following pages:

Can I modify the OMNISERVE content?  
Yes, you can modify the OMNISERVE content. We also have a copywriter available should you require help writing accurate and compelling content. Contact us for more information.

What file formats can I use for my images?  
JPEG and GIF are the only formats accepted in the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire for images

I have completed the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire, what is the next step?
The next step in the process is to "Schedule your Consultation", you do this through the online calendar in OMNISERVE's control panel

Scheduling your Consultation

When can I schedule my consultation?  
Once you have completed all the compulsory fields in the “Collecting your Input" questionnaire you can proceed to schedule your consultation. Once you have scheduled your consultation you are not allowed to modify the "Collecting your Input" questionnaire.

How can I schedule my consultation?
You schedule your session via the OMNISERVE's control panel under the "Schedule your Consultation" tab. The scheduling is done via an easy to use calendar.

Can I reschedule/cancel my consultation?
Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your consultation up to 2 hours prior to the original scheduled time

How do I reschedule my consultation?  
You can reschedule your consultation on the "Schedule your Consultation" tab on the OMNISERVE control panel

What happens if I miss my Build session?  
You will need to call our Customer Care team (01 5241730) to rearrange a new session. Please note that this might incur a penalty fee.

1 to 1 Build Session

Will I get notified before my "Build” session is due to start?  
Yes, you will get notified via email 1 day, 6 hours and 3 hours before the session is due to start.

What do I need to do at least 3 hours before “Build” session is due to start?  
Before the session is due to start we recommend that you run the OMNISETUPCHECK on the PC that you are going to use during the "Build" session to make sure that it is suitable to run the session. If the machine is not suitable you will be advised about the steps you need to take to fix the issue.

What is the OMNISETUPCHECK?  
The OMNISETUPCHECK is a simple program that checks some settings on your machine to make sure it is suitable for the "Build" session. This program does not install anything on your machine, nor does it modify any files.

How do I run the OMNISETUPCHECK?
To run the OMNISETUPCHECK all you need to do is to click on the link provided on the notification emails.

What do I need to do 10 min before the "Build" session is due to start?
10 minutes before the session is due to start you need to launch the remote connection software so that you can see the CONSULTANT’s screen while he/she builds your site.

How do I launch the remote connection software?
To launch the remote connection software you can click on the link sent to you via email or you can go to OMNISERVE’s control panel and click on the "Launch Session" tab

Will the OMNICONSULTANT call me or will I have to call him/her?
The OMNICONSULTANT will call you few minutes before your consultation is due to start to make sure that you are set up correctly on a landline number you have provided.

Can I use a mobile phone to carry out the "Build" session?
No, the OMNISERVE consultant will not call you on a mobile. To ensure that the session runs smoothly we will only carry them over landlines. In the case where you do not have access to a landline you will need to call the consultant at an agreed number at the scheduled time.

Can the consultant fix any technical issues that might arise on my PC as part of the "Build" session?
No the consultants wont be able to fix technical issues. This is why we recommend you run our OMNISETUPCHECK in advance.

Can I split my session in two 30 minutes session?  
No, the "Build" session cannot be split

Can I provide new images and content to the consultant during the "Build" Session?  
No, you cannot provide new files during the "Build" session

Can the consultant access files in my PC during the "Build" session?
No, the OMNICONSULTANT can not access any files on your machine while the " Build" session

Can I get somebody else to do the "Build" session for me?
Yes, you can appoint somebody else to carry out the "Build" session for you. They will require access to your OMNISERVE control panel. The person appointed must have the right to make decisions so that the website can be built within the hour.

How do I make changes to my site after the session is over?
You will log into your Website Builder application details of which will have been provided to you via email after you signed up.

Can I add more pages to my site once the "Build" session is over?  
Yes of course. We place no limitations on how many pages you can have.

Will the OMNISERVE consultant create the email addresses I want as part of the "Build" Session?
No, the OMNISERVE consultant cannot create email addresses for your domain. This will be done in advance of you Build Session and details on how to access email will have been set to you via email.

Why can I not see my site after the "Build" session is completed?  
If your domain has not been fully registered yet you will not be able to see your site after it is published by the OMNICONSULTANT. For any queries about your domain registration you will need to contact our support team directly by opening a ticket in your Omniserve Control Panel.

How long will it take for my site to be visible after the consultant publishes it?
If your domain is fully registered the site will be visible immediately after it has been published.

Maintenance & Stats

How can I update my site after it has been published by the OMNISERVE consultant?
You will log into your sitebuilder application details of which will have been provided to you via email.

What is this Site Builder application?
Site Builder is the application used by the OMNICONSULTANT to create your site and also the application you will use to make any changes to your site

Where can I check the traffic statistics for my site once it has been published?
To see the statistics for your website you need to click on log into your Web Statistics area details of which would have been provided to you via email.

How many pages can I add to my site once it has been published?
There is no limit on how many additional pages you can add.

I'm having problems uploading images
There are a number of areas in the "Collecting your Input" and within the Site Builder application where you can upload your own images. Depending on the speed of your broadband it may take some time for the images to transfer especially if the images have come direct from a digital camera. If images are large and your speed is slow it can cause the application to stop working. If you are experiencing issues in uploading images case please read the explanation below.

Issue 1: I clicked upload and nothing happens:
1.Open your image in a graphics application
2.Use the application to resize the image downwards so the file size is less than 2 megabytes.
3.Re upload your new image into the "Collecting your Input" or Site Builder application

Issue 2: I'm told "Image too large for Image Editor to handle: If you get this error message here is a guide as to what to do"
1.Open your image in a graphics application
